 Legality wise, I feel that the US should consider making all illegals who have lived in the US and contribute in some way to our society for at least a few years (give or take a year or two), and basically integrated “de facto legal by default” (but without publicly making such a virtue signaling proclamation, only through actions not words) This way , there would be less bickering and divisiveness over this issue since that would be a stealth way to extremely decrease illegals in the US without deporting them or creating harsh anti immigration policies (but different than former President Ronald Reagan did it with his 1986 IRCA, in part because this wouldn’t be amnesty but a fundamental change to permanently blur or even remove the lines between legal and ‘illegal’ immigrant while retro fitting current illegals into this change by making them ‘de facto legal by default’).  Can’t complain about ‘illegal’ immigrants if there is hardly a line between legal and illegal immigrants.  A lot of the early Zionists were said to to be Socialists. The USSR was one of the first countries to recognize Israel as a country, Israel won the 1948 war against the Arabs in large part due to arms shipments that came from Communist Czechoslovakia, many of the early kibbutzim were proto Socialist communities(Noam Chomsky worked on one), David Ben Gurion (founding father of Israel) was the leader of ‘Mapai’ the ‘Workers Party’ which is a Democratic Socialist organization. A lot of the Old Left was pro Israel as a result. There was enormous sympathy for the new Jewish state because of the WWII, also in 1948 Israel looked like the more progressive option compared to the feudal Arab regimes which surrounded Israel. A party that rules Israel with the Liberal, national democratic values mentioned here held by the protesters  with a touch of Le ft Wing Z ioni sm   A left wing Israeli government that is like Israel's version of the Left Anarchist state of Rojava (see here , here )

 I also love the "Be gay, do crime" slogan.  That slogan is anti neoliberal and anti authoritarian and it implies that gays doing criminal and incivil acts may be necessary to obtain equal rights for gays everywhere (since being gay is still criminalized in many places around the world)   Queer Anarchists can trace this type of bold method back to the Stonewall riots where gay protestors back then used the same methods to try to obtain equal rights for gays
